I received one of these emails today. The sender is now using a version of the W-8BEN form which is almost identical to the IRS form in format. . .with a couple of differences. In the header of the official form, it says "Give this form to the withholding area or payer, do not send to the IRS". Understandably, the scammer deleted this line from the header of the fake form attached to the email.

Additionally, there's a Part II Identification of Beneficial Owner which asks for bank account information (including account numbers) which the real IRS form does not ask for.

I haven't been trying new themes anymore these days, it takes a lot of time to get familiarized with themes and get them to work the way you want it so I tend to stick to the themes I'm familiar with, mainly Elegant Themes and match the format to the product niche.

If the product remands a lot of specifications and explanation, I use more complex layouts from Elegant such as InReview or Nexus. For simpler, more self-explanatory products, I tend to stick with themes with larger images and cleaner layouts.

IMHO, once you find one or two themes that converts and you're familiar with, stick with it. There's really no reason to use a different theme per site, just tweak the color theme, banner/call-to-action placement and you should be good to go.

You certainly can, I have a few sites with both types of banners but each banner you add reduces the effectiveness of the other. But of course, always experiment.

Thanks for the reply. Can you put Adsense ads on your Amazon affiliate site also? Or would doing both on one website somehow mess something up or get dinged by Google for having too many ads on your site?

I doubt that it’s “blacklisted” as Weaver is still widely used and I personally still have 2 sites that runs it with no problems the past few years. I think what you’ve read in the past was more about the theme creator’s WEBSITE got hacked, hence the Google warning, not the theme itself that has the trouble. I was reading reviews of Weaver 2 on wordpress.org. One guy warned that Weaver is getting targeted by malware attacks and that some sites had been blacklisted by Google. Is it more insecure than other themes?

FSB right now has added tons of new features since I've posted this review. Frankly, I haven't tried out the new stuff yet because I've been busy on other sites.

I haven't tried Shopseez yet, so I can't comment, so I checked out the link you've posted.

From what I see, Shopseez look like a combination of Viglink and FSB, which is awesome as you can choose different affiliate networks.

The fact that you can choose CJ, GAN, and Affiliate Window already opens up your option four-fold.

Great find... Naturally though, a monthly recurring fee means you have to make sure you can recoup (though honestly, a tiny amount) the fee they're charging.

I had been looking for a review on FSB, so thank you. I'm currently torn which one to try FSB or the slightly different Shopseez.com to be fair shopseez looks little less technical in terms of setting up and hosting. Any one tried shopseez?

I found that TBS has a richer word bank and a more intuitive to use.

But in your case, if you're comfortable in rewriting articles and such yourself, I'll skip getting a tool altogether. An article spinner is great if you want someone else to spin and edit it for you, meaning, you have an original text, you run it through a spinner and send the resulting article to someone to proofread and edit. It's more effective easier to make real original articles that way.

I haven't used Article Content Spinners yet, so I'm afraid I can't comment on that.

Hi Thomas, thank you for dropping by.

To answer your question, no, you only need to use ONE Amazon link code, your "local" URL will be sufficient. In your case, the US code will suffice.

Whatever you entered in the first "Amazon.com ID" field is your primary URL. The plugin changes the affiliate ID to the appropriate country depending on the visitor's IP.

Hi David, thank you for a great post! I have one question I hope you'll be kind enough to answer: Once the Amazon Localizer plug-in has been installed, do you only have to insert the product code once, or do you still have to insert several different product codes for each Amazon site?

Example: I have an american website, but if the visitor is from England, Germany or France, do I need to insert three more codes, or will the american poduct code do? Is that how Link Localizer works? :-)
